Gail Stavru - Polymer Clay Beads
Watercolor, polymer clay, pysanky (Ukranian egg design ), leaf collage art, and One Stroke Painting are just a few of the many areas of interest for Gail. Teaching elementary art for 15-1/2 years in Concord, New Hampshire left her limited time to pursue these interests although she did find time to create these craft areas and sell them in a jewelry shop in Epsom, New Hampshire as well as in her schools.
Gail has been retired since January, 2001 and now takes time to play with her hobbies. She has been published in Arts and Activites Magazine, a national publication for art teachers.
In 1992 Gail was honored with an award for Recognition of Dedication to and Accomplishment in the Field of Art Education.
On January 4, 2004, Carol Duval from Home and Garden Television presented Gails leaf collages (in the "shoe box segment") where she used pressed leaves to create animals, fish and birds.
Gail has taught classes since her retirement and we are honored that she teaches classes at The Source....go to our information page & sign up today!

Much respected in her field, working as the director of Flagler County Community Services, her heart is drawn to her art. She attended the School of Visual Arts in New York City and earned a Bachelor of Art from the Thomas A. Edison State College in Trenton, NJ. Come share her joy, and her thoughts that are beyond the normal greeting. A truly unique wish for your friends and family for their special occasion.
